Foraging Dandelion Flowers to Dehydrate

I am foraging Dandelion Flowers to dehydrate in a paper bag, in the warm car. Dandelion flower heads take about a week to dry and then they are ready to use or store in a sealed glass jar.

Dandelions are found in 6 continents and have been used medicinally for thousands of years, to treat inflammation and infection.

The whole plant is edible, including the root, leaves, flower and stem.

Dandelions flower in Spring and I use the dried flowers to make infused oils and then Salves.
