Watch our tame Light Sussex Chicks growing from day 1 to 60 days.
They grow at a steady rate and Sussex chickens are a naturally tame and friendly breed. They are certainly a gentle addition to the flock and are nice to the Muscovy ducks and other chicken breeds.
These chicks were hatched in a small incubator, initially raised indoors and slowly introduced to the rest of the Poultry flock, including Muscovy ducks, Australorps and Cuckoo Marans.
It is important to me that my birds are safe, healthy, happy and well adjusted and spending regular time with them, to observe their behavior and assist with introduction to the flock is essential to raise excellent back yard chickens.
