From a huge, well established 1000 acre homestead to the humble 1/6 of an acre yard of weeds, I wasn't going to let my dream and lifestyle die. Taking small, daily steps towards your goals will eventually achieve your dreams.
Just because you aren't on the perfect dream property, are possibly renting or your family don't want the homesteading lifestyle or you have health challenges, If you focus, take small steps often towards your goal, eventually you will see the rewards where you are.
Backyard Homesteading / Seasons Late Autumn / Taking A Little Action Every Day Can Achieve Dreams
Sowing seeds, Harvesting chilies & Fixing An Oil Lamp.
There is a little bit of space in the Winter Vegetable garden, so I am sowing Spring Onion seeds. I introduce my new Navel Orange tree, the eighth Citrus Tree at Moat Cottage and harvest more chilies, showing you my best Chilly plant and it didn't even make it to a garden bed, next Summer I will be growing all my Chilly plants like this.
We got some rain so I was out collecting snails for the Muscovy Ducks, which I fed to them the next morning.
One of my oil lamps was broken so I used JB Weld https://amzn.to/3P3N2z5 to cold weld the damaged metal parts together.
