Join me for a Working Pantry Tour of my homestead root cellar fresh produce, the larder staples and preserved foods, both canned and dehydrated.

Most of the fresh and preserved food is grown and put up by me, on my small homestead.

A working Pantry on a homestead, is all the food you grow and eat fresh and put up for the year ahead, as well as staples from the shops to be consumed on a daily basis, for the year ahead.

Welcome to Moat Cottage Homesteading, I'm Elissa and here at Moat Cottage, we raise and grow and process some of our own free range meat, organic vegetables and fruit. We grow all of our herbs for both eating and medicinal purposes as well as hunt, fish and forage.
